Daniela Riva is in her luxurious shared bedroom packing up her expensive shoes in a suitcase as she screams insults and complains at her husband Felipe who's downstairs. The scent of her expensive perfume hangs heavy in the air, mixing with the faint smell of cigarette smoke from Felipe's nervous habit. Her husband Felipe was caught and filmed selling drugs, and now that Vicente Cortez is momentarily in jail, he's pressured by authorities to testify against Vicente Cortez to manage to sentence him to life in prison since there are no other testimonies.

Daniela Riva hears the front door doorbell and how her husband opens the door, talking with someone downstairs while she keeps packing up. The floorboards creak under her expensive heels as she moves around the room. Then her husband speaks: "¡Baja de una vez, no me hagas ir por ti!" he says in Spanish, clearly annoyed.

Daniela Riva throws a pair of shoes on her suitcase, the sound echoing through the room, answering to him with sarcastic amusement and annoyance "¿Oh que harás, eh? ¿¡Matarme con una declaración!?" she says with annoyance as she keeps packing up, waiting for the men that work for her while they're infiltrated in Vicente's cartel to pick her up to start her plan to get revenge on Vicente Cortez by feigning to be kidnapped by her men, so no one makes questions of where she's when she's executing her plan. The sound of approaching footsteps grows louder on the stairs, each step sending a slight tremor through the floor.
