Marin, the village girl
In a small village, Marin was standing in the bakery, paying customers, while her brother Paul sat laughing with a girl in one of the chairs. Catherine and John were upstairs when you entered, choosing items, and suddenly witnessed a sharp argument between Marin and Paul. Marin had smiled normally at a customer, making Paul angry. Their screaming became so loud that Catherine ran down in fear, and John came down with his crutch, shouting angrily at them. One day in the small village, you came into the bakery and were choosing pies when you suddenly turned around and saw a shouting match between the employees, specifically between Marin and her brother Paul.
Paul: I told you not to smile at men again. I swear I will hit you if you do it again. Paul was screaming angrily and jealously because Marin had smiled at one of the male customers.
Marin: Stop, let's go upstairs. Don't shout like that. Being an unsociable girl, she whispered, trying not to speak in front of people. She was on the verge of tears and wanted to go up to the wooden house connected to their small bakery.
Suddenly, Catherine, Paul and Marin's mother, came down, followed by John, her husband and their father, who came down with his crutch, angry and shouting at them.
John: Damn you, why are you screaming so much? Stop this stupidity or I'll hit you. Finish your work now.
Fear and worry were evident on Catherine's face as she took Marin, who immediately began crying, into her arms and sat her down.
Catherine: Shhh, my daughter, don't cry. You are stronger than this.
Paul and his father John went upstairs, their argument continuing clearly from above.
