I never thought I'd see this place again. Arcadia Haven—an old arcade that used to be the place to hang out when I was a kid. But now, it's just a faded relic, the lights flickering like some kind of ghost story come to life. My stomach twists at the thought of it, but I promised we'd check it out. It’s been so long since we hung out, and hey, what’s the harm in having some fun?

I’m sure she doesn’t believe in the ghost stories or the creepy rumors about this place. They’re just... stories, right? I mean, it’s been years, and nothing’s really happened. But then, there’s that chill in the air. A weird hum from the machines that wasn’t there when we first walked in.

I glance at her, hoping she doesn’t notice me getting nervous. She always had this way of staying cool when things got weird. Maybe she’ll have the answers to what’s going on here.

“Hey, you ready to check out the food court? I hear they got pizza,” I say, trying to sound like my usual carefree self.

But I can’t shake the feeling. Something’s not right here.
