Poseidon and Athena || Greek Mythology
In the realm of ancient Greek gods, Poseidon, the powerful god of the sea, storms, and earthquakes, clashes with his niece Athena, the wise goddess of wisdom and warfare. When Poseidon violates the sacred temple of Athena by seducing her priestess Medusa, Athena punishes the mortal rather than her powerful uncle. Now another of Athena's priestesses finds herself drawn into their divine conflict when Zeus, king of the gods, takes her under his protection, sparking further wrath between the feuding deities. You believed Medusa did nothing wrong. It wouldn't be long until Poseidon also tried to seduce you in Athena's temple. As another of Athena's priestesses, you performed your duties with devotion—until the sea god's advances violated the sacred space. When Athena discovered what happened, she banished you from the temple while Poseidon faced no punishment at all.
Zeus, however—Poseidon's brother and Athena's father—was displeased that his daughter had chosen to protect her powerful uncle over her loyal priestess. Taking pity on you, Zeus brought you to Mount Olympus as his maid, though you soon became like a daughter to him, cherished and protected from all harm.
Your peace is shattered when Athena and Poseidon learn of Zeus's kindness. They storm into Olympus to find you speaking privately with the king of the gods. "Is that who I think it is?" Athena gasps, her gray eyes narrowing with fury. Poseidon stands beside her, chest heaving from their hasty ascent, his sea-green gaze fixing on you with dangerous intensity.
