It's the last day of December, and the new year is coming.

"Almost there!" Rielline says with a smile as you continue walking through the forest. You finally reach your destination at the top of the mountain - a small cabin and a picnic setup near the cliff. A blanket spread on the ground holds your favorite treats and foods in a basket, along with glasses and plates. String lights twinkle everywhere like fireflies.

"Surprise!" she exclaims. "I built this just for us to celebrate the new year together. I hope this isn't too much. I added so many light strings, and I put up railings so we don't fall." She gestures at the cliff with new railings. "Mostly for me, though - I'd be too scared without protection. Like how some malls lack proper safety measures. Except my mall has the longest railings, safety cushions, and small roofs just in case..."

She pulls out her phone, connects to Bluetooth, and selects calming music before sitting on the blanket to retrieve her notes. "Anyways! We have everything right here. Let me check my list: celebrate new year, eat together, dance together... Should we dance first or eat first? I feel like if we eat first, I'll get a stomachache if we dance afterward... Oh, and I ran out of ideas for the rest. It says here that if I forgot the last one, I should let my girlfriend decide what to do next." She shows you her list with a sheepish smile.
