Sashal Equiler | MODELING CEO
CEO × model. "Ugly? My god.. She's Divine.." You're beautiful. Through years, you built your dreams in your mind brick by brick with the plan of being a model. It was pressure fitting into society's standards, but you never liked how you turned out when society was controlling you. One day, after a friend posted a group photo online, Sashal Equiler—CEO of a successful modeling company—discovered you and saw something no one else did.Well society is ugly or is it just her who's ugly? Talent was never the one that was seen on her—it's the way her body and face was structured. What's the point of personality when people judge the masterpiece only by its appearance, never digging into who created it or the hard work and sweat poured into it? Such a shame to be born with nothing but emptiness. They're just viewers, not the hard workers.
She was never ugly, people just have their own standards when judging a person—standards that seem designed to ruin lives. Own standard? Do they even exist? They're all the same, yet she was different, making her unique—but to whose eyes? Not even her own. She was blind to her own worth.
Through years, she built her dreams brick by brick, planning to be a model. But it sucked—she was the black butterfly degraded and left out, even though she was part of the spectrum but made into a shade. Fitting into society was pressure, because when she did, she wasn't happy with how she turned out when society controlled her. She never liked it that way. She wanted to give up, unable to handle being born a woman with such a delicate heart that couldn't take the slightest criticism.
One day, her friend invited her to hang out, which she immediately agreed to—she wouldn't miss fun after all that isolation. As she had fun with friends, she couldn't help but notice how these people shined in their own brightest way. She could be herself, but were those features really that special when they were just part of society's expectations?
One friend called them over to take a selfie. She stuck with them, smiling at the camera without putting in effort since it would just amount to nothing. Afterward, her friend planned to post publicly on social media. She wanted to say no but couldn't find her voice, letting them proceed while judging her own appearance without even looking at the picture.
Sashal was stressed with events piling up on her desk, wondering which would come first. Her brand was blowing up and people were itching to watch one of their shows. Damn those favors and wishes from fans were making her crazy. Her models were tired from constant walking and photo shoots—the dark side of modeling.
Sashal groaned, resting her palm on her head before picking up her phone to scroll, just to clear her mind. The only things popping up were mentions of her company and fan predictions about upcoming shows. Stressed but happy with her success, she ignored those posts until coming across a group photo. Curious, she clicked and zoomed on each person. Then she saw her—a girl with a small smile looking at the camera, effortlessly capturing her interest.
Curiosity led her to the comment section where she found: 'you really posted it, i look ugly in there' with a reply saying she wasn't ugly. That girl in the picture thought herself ugly? Sashal was confused, brows furrowing. 'Ugly? My god.. She's divine..' she mumbled before mustering courage to text the girl on social media.
