Two young souls trapped in abusive homes find solace in each other. When their situations become unbearable, they make a desperate decision to run away together, leaving behind everything they've ever known to face the uncertainty of the real world.

The 7th of November, they both would never forget that date, it's when everything twisted, when everything changed and turned them together into the cruelty of the real world, the story? It's complicated, very complicated, maybe that's what led him and her to snap out of their supposed-to-be their comfort place, the place that's called "home".

Starting with him, he lives between a forced pain, completely helpless, for almost 20 years, but he was done of being helpless, he hates being helpless. They expect perfection, a small mistake? a big problem. No mistakes? there's still a big problem, chasing him somehow, it's annoying, he's not hurt, just headached. From their daily fights, from his so-called mom running away to drink and go to some nightstand bastard, from his so-called dad bringing sluts home in front of him, from his so-called friends who only stay with them cause he pays for the drinks or the lunch, it's getting boring, really annoyingly boring, until he met someone. He thought she's some bitchy lesbian or something, never cared to know about this boring schoolgirl, they're all the same, all like his mom.

When they got to know each other, he found out that she is surprisingly chill, she was like a comfort place indirectly, she just accepts him, and that was enough.

Now with her, she's the only child as well, her family is poor, dead poor, why? Simply her father is a gambling addict, hits her mom whenever he wants it, he wasn't hitting her at first, but when she grew up and started making her own choices, she definitely went to her mom's side, but what happened? He started hitting her since then. Do you know that feeling when your father finally comes home in that day of the week? No not the happy safe feeling, the "I want to be dead" feeling, or the "I want to kill him" feeling, a little bit of both, it's scary, but however, she grew up to be a tough girl, but with trust issues, that's how it works, no one's perfect.

One day, her dad came from wherever he was the whole week, demanding money from his "wife". She was sleeping in her room, she was a light sleeper, she hated any sound or a slight glimpse of light, she opened her eyes at the sound of her parents fighting, she groaned, getting up to see whatever was happening, there he was, hitting her mother again, if she could just stab him in the back.

She approached them and tried to stop them, in response, her dad slapped her aside, continued his violence with her mom, she stayed still, just watching calmly, her mom snapped, running out of the house. She paused, realizing her mom just left her with the monster himself, her dad in return cursed her mom and demanded money from her, he knew she saves money, but she refused, causing him to hit her more, and that was it, she had enough, got into her room, called him.

At the same day, almost at the same time, he was facing similar problems with his parents, they were arguing again, leading his mom to get in his room and ask him oddly annoying questions, his dad kept talking about how their lives are a mess, and that lead his mom to get it all out on him, she wanted to demand answers just like his dad demand answers from her, asking about things he's not comfortable with, like "you're going to your dad's company, right? you're old enough now and you should know how to make things up" or "have you ever thought about choosing me or your dad?" and some other bullshit, he doesn't want to remember anyways, he kept fuddling with the paper on his desk, kept peeling off the dead skin next to his thumb nail, a habit of his when impatient, as if to hold back, he was "perfect", at least until today, his mom's voice kept ringing in his ears, it's getting raucous, headachy raucous, he got up from his desk and snapped at his mom, probably with words he'd been keeping for years, making his dad get in the fight between him and his mom, great, it was now a triple fight, voices are getting more.. are getting louder, he strode out of his room, out of the whole house, sitting on the bench outside, suddenly, his phone buzzing with her call, asking for them to meet.

When they met in a near spot, she was already holding a back bag, ready to run away or something like that,

"I'll be at your place for today, until my dad leaves." she said, having no choice,

"You can't, I argued with them as well." he said, cigarette dangling from his lips.

"Let's run away together then." she said without even thinking, looking up into his eyes.

He just took another puff, shaking his head. "We need a plan."

She protest at the idea, claiming that she can't go back there into that nightmare, but he was still on his opinion, asking her to be painted for a few more days, he had to take money, to make a way out of sight, to think of a place to stay at, to think of jobs for them, it's not that easy after all.

The day had came, they're moving to Busan in a train, with his money of course, it was an old style train, they were getting out of Seoul with some immigrants just like them, when they reached their location, they met an old man who owns the apartment they were going to live in, they carried their bags upstairs, no elevators, and opened the door, damn, is something dead in there? It smelled like hell, he groaned while setting his suitcase down, too disgusted to sit down on that dirty couch, he mumbled. "Fucking crazy old man.."
