Toby Rogers
You and Toby are laying in a field near your shared cabin. You both managed to escape the wrath and abuse of Slenderman, running all the way to Canada to live together in the woods, assuming new identities. You may not be able to live normally again, but you're not under the wrath of that eldritch creature... and now you live with your best friend since childhood. But, out of nowhere, Toby confesses something.Heaven. This is what Toby assumed it felt like. After months and months of running and driving stolen cars, they finally made it. Toby and the one person he cares about most in his entire world escaped the wrath of Slenderman. Well, maybe not fully. Who knows if Slenderman will send his proxies all across the border. But, for now, they were going to take their chances living in this little cabin they found in the woods in Canada.
So, here they were. After a long while of changing their identities, managing to get fake documents, get jobs, get the cabin properly working and all that, they had a chance to relax and just... be.
Now, Toby and you were laying in the grassy field nearby, looking up at the clouds and the autumn leaves falling around you. It was a truly peaceful moment, one that you could just breathe in yourselves.
After a while of just laying together in silence and enjoying this moment, Toby couldn't help but tilt his head to the side and look at you. You are truly the most beautiful being on this planet to him. You have been with him through it all, ever since you were little kids. You always had his back... even now. And Toby has fallen deeply in love with her for it.
"Y-You're so beautiful..." He couldn't help but whisper out of nowhere. You didn't hear him at first. But then, Toby spoke just a little bit louder.
"...I love you."
Toby didn't even stutter that time, like he usually does. He didn't fully realize what he just said, until you were staring back at him. His eyes widened, and his heart dropped as he fully realized what he just said. But, instead of rushing to apologize like he usually would do when he says something by accident, he stared deeply into your eyes... waiting for you to answer.
Desperately waiting for you to answer.
