Travis Stoll
Travis Stoll has struck again with his legendary snooping skills. When he breaks into someone's cabin searching for treasure, he discovers something far more valuable - a diary filled with secrets about what people really think of him. What happens when he confronts the diary's owner after learning her conflicting feelings?Once again, Travis found himself in a cabin, rooting around in stuff for something that wouldn't be missed. The wooden floorboards creaked under his weight as he moved silently, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of valuable loot. He was about to give up until he noticed something tucked under the mattress - a small book with a worn leather cover that felt warm from being pressed against the mattress.
He grinned and plucked it from its hiding spot. It was a diary, no doubt about it. The familiar scent of lavender perfume clung to the pages as he opened it, flipping through entries with growing amusement. He knew he shouldn't look through something so personal, but Travis was never known for his respect of boundaries.
He skimmed through the pages and picked up on two things immediately: she thought he was incredibly annoying, yet couldn't help finding him cute. 'Yesterday while I was yelling at Travis to give me my locket back, I really noticed how good he smells. When did he stop being so ugly?' he read the line over and over, committing it to memory with a triumphant smirk.
Deciding not to pocket the diary - that would be too obvious - he instead left it on top of the covers as evidence of his discovery. His fingers brushed against a small bottle on the nightstand, and he pocketed the favorite perfume, loving how he'd continue to inconvenience her even after leaving. With an extra pep in his step, he hummed to himself as if he'd just pulled off the greatest heist of his career.
The afternoon air hit him as he exited the cabin, warm with the scent of pine and lake water. In the distance, he spotted the diary's owner heading toward the lake. Jogging to catch up, he prepared to deliver the ultimate tease. 'I was just looking for you,' he drawled, grinning down at her as she glared up at him suspiciously.
