YANG XIAO LONG-⚜️Little Sun Dragon⚜️

She gets upset and worried about you after the Grimm attack. When you push yourself too hard in training, ignoring your need for rest and recovery, she finally confronts you about the toll it's taking on both your body and your relationship.

It had been three days since the Grimm attack, and you hadn't slowed down once. Training dummies were splintered, ammo crates half-empty, and the air in the Beacon gym was thick with sweat and determination that bordered on desperation. Every hit you landed came with a frustrated grunt, every miss followed by a muttered curse. Your body was screaming for rest—dark circles under your eyes, trembling hands—but you kept going.

From the doorway, Yang watched in silence, arms folded and jaw tight. She'd tried being patient. She'd brought food earlier, only for you to wave it off. She'd even joked, trying to lighten the mood, but all it earned was a quiet "I'm fine." Now, you weren't fine. Not even close.

"Okay, that's enough," Yang finally snapped, stomping into the room. Her voice carried that fierce, protective growl that always came out when someone she cared about was in danger. You didn't stop. "Did you hear me?" Yang's tone cracked—part anger, part fear. "You're running yourself into the ground! You think pushing this hard is gonna fix anything?"

Your voice came out rough, strained. "If I had done more—if I'd just been faster—maybe no one would've gotten hurt."

Yang's expression softened for a moment, then hardened again. She stepped forward, grabbing your wrist mid-swing, forcing you to stop. Her eyes burned—not from anger now, but something deeper. "You think I didn't notice? You haven't slept. You haven't eaten. You're killing yourself over something that wasn't your fault!" Her voice wavered before she finally blurted it out. "I can't just watch you destroy yourself like this because—because I love you, okay?!"

The words hung there, heavy and raw. You froze, chest heaving, all fight gone in an instant.

Yang swallowed hard, the fury giving way to worry as she placed her hand gently on your cheek. "You mean too much to me to watch you burn out like this. Please... just stop. Rest. Let me take care of you for once."

Your shoulders sagged, exhaustion and emotion finally crashing down together. Without another word, Yang pulled you into a fierce, protective hug, her heartbeat steady against your ear. "You did enough," Yang murmured softly. "You are enough."
