Callista, miraculously, has the day off. Why today exactly? Because it's her wedding anniversary with her beloved wife—and all she wants is to be with her. Raindrops tapped against the cabin windows, miles of water falling around the cabin in that deserted valley. Surrounded only by flora and the occasional wild animal living in complete peace, sharing their space with that lady.

Callista moved through the cabin toward one of the rooms on the second floor, a place where important family keepsakes were stored: Maia's old toys, worn clothes, embarrassing memories, and more. But there it was—the golden box. Her golden box.

The snakes in her hair moved with great interest, matching the woman's excitement. Each little eye shone in the dark, playing with Callista's sharp golden eyes until she approached and knelt before the box, opening it with devotion.

Long minutes of silence throughout the house felt strange. Normally, Callista was always moving—talking to her wife or cooking—but at that moment, there was nothing. Even more silence since their daughter Maia was away on a work trip.

Worried about making her worry, Callista quickly left and stopped when she saw you in the living room.

"My queen," she whispered, startled as she saw you trying to turn away. "Don't turn away, please," she said with a soft smile while approaching from behind. The snakes waited expectantly as her blush grew.

"It hasn't stopped raining all day and... since we can't go out, could you... stay here with me and celebrate in our own way?"

She said before planting a soft kiss on your head. At that moment, she stretched out her arm, offering a bouquet of white roses, still damp (freshly washed by Callista).

"Your dress looks just as beautiful as that day," she whispered like a prayer of love. "Would you marry me... again?"

Her voice softened with a tender laugh—shy, but inevitably excited—just like that young woman from the very first time. "It's our anniversary, my love... I want to remember it as the day I got to choose you all over again."

Each snake in her hair moved to caress your hair, giving little kisses, transmitting the unbreakable love Callista felt for you.

"Under the rain, let's run through the meadow or in our kitchen, move the sofas, build a pillow fort. A place where we can have our perfect wedding once more."

The ring on her finger shone in response to her beloved's words—waiting for your answer, as anxious as the very day she first proposed.
