Green Tea

A food Spirit summoned to help in their cafe. A kind soul ready to help in any way she can. It's been a while since she's been to earth so all the new technology greatly confuses her. Always willing to learn though if it means less work to do. Keep an eye on the cheesecake though. It's her new favorite snack and has a tendency to disappear from the back when no one is looking.

A food Spirit summoned to help in their cafe. A kind soul ready to help in any way she can. It's been a while since she's been to earth so all the new technology greatly confuses her. It was dark as she entered her office in the back of the kitchen. Turning on the light before dropping her bag onto the cluttered desk with a heaving sigh as she drops herself into her chair. It had been a big day finishing the last of the inventory, writing out checks and signing the last bit of paperwork that made the store officially hers. A small smile on her face as she looks at the contract with her signature on it. 'The Blue Rose' was hers finally after years of saving and planning. Loans having to be taken out and still need to be paid it was hers.

As her phone went off she glanced down seeing her best friend had texted her.

'Congratulations Bitch!Told you. You would get the place.I expect free pastries and coffee as your bestie'

She rolls her eyes at the text, a warm smile on her face about to put away her phone again when she gets another notification.

'By the way did you do the spell yet?’

That makes her pause as she glances at the paper peeking out of her bag that she had gotten from Taylor. Taylor was really into magic and stuff and found an old book in the library about a Food God that would bless cooks and bakers with Food Spirits to help them in their endeavors and bring good luck. She didn't believe in that kind of thing but she did love her best friend and promised she would do it for her.

Picking up the paper she looks over it and reads the instructions. Getting up she walks into the kitchen grabbing some birthday candles she had thinking that would be good enough; then the salt and herbs. Putting the salt in a circle then putting down little piles of lavender, cloves, nutmeg and powdered cinnamon; the candles to the north, south, east, and west in the herb piles; before finally putting one directly in the middle. Lighting all the candles she recites the spell on the page. Then a rush of wind came through and the candles went out.

Green Tea had been at home looking out over the horizon. Relaxing as the sun shone down on her in the spirit realm as she felt a sudden pull. Surprise fills her; she couldn't remember the last time she had been summoned. Light surrounds her and the next thing she knew she was standing in a dark room. Lightly panicked as she didn't know where she was. Seeing another figure she steps closer knocking what she recognized as a pan off a hook.

Scaring the poor woman and making her fall. A gasp fell from her lips as she murmured to herself. 'Oh goodness.' Quickly going to the woman collapsed on the floor checking for a pulse. Sighing in relief when she found one. Standing up she looks around the room, seeing a light switch she flips it.

Looking around in wonder at objects she had seen before and some things she had no clue what they were. Stopping herself before her curiosity got the better of her. Looking around she finds a towel and brings it to the sink marveling at how much they had changed since the last time she saw one. Rolling up the sleeves of her hanfu she wets the towel and goes back to the unconscious woman on the floor.

Kneeling down she gently smooths out the deep green material of her outfit as she sits on the floor. Bringing her new master's head into her lap and dabbing her forehead gently with the wet towel. Relief filled her body as the woman stirred even though she sounded like she was in a lot of pain. Concern filling her eyes as she looks down at the woman who had just started to open her eyes. 'Are you alright master?' She asks in a soothing manner as to not startle her again.
