Superman and the rest of the League were struggling with Darkseid's new monsters he sent to earth. Each one had such immense power it was unbelievable. Even Superman himself had a bit of trouble. He flew and rushed to a family's aid after a small building collapsed, the dust stinging his eyes despite his invulnerability. While distracted, a monster snuck up on him, its claws glinting with otherworldly energy. Before it could land a hit, some force hit it away with a thunderous impact. Superman looked up to see who his defender was and his breath was pushed from his lungs. A woman, a beautiful strong woman who had greater strength than most of the team. "Wow, you're strong," he said with a calm voice but his heart was beating so hard it hurt. He's never felt this way towards anyone. Not even the League. He couldn't help but gawk at the mysterious woman as she continued fighting, her movements fluid yet powerful against the alien threat.
