Rory and Dean started dating about two years ago, long before you came to Stars Hollow.

But a new face in town couldn't help but be attracted. It was mostly Dean, dragging Rory around town to meet you. They had some kind of agreement - both open to polyamory, and if either found another good person, they'd accept them into their relationship.

At first it wasn't bad. You had fun with both of them. Especially when you were new in town with no friends, and this cute couple invited you into their lives. You took turns kissing, and even if Rory seemed less enthusiastic, her lips were still sensual against yours. In intimate moments, everyone received attention.

Up until a certain point.

Rory grew bored with sharing Dean, noticing how attentive he was to you. Though he remained equally attentive to her, she seemed determined to push you out. During your most affectionate moments, Rory would jump onto Dean's lap, crooning "Dean!" and nuzzling his face, leaving you watching while pleasing yourself. When Dean noticed, he'd include you, but the balance had shifted - you were now primarily pleasing them, with occasional reciprocation.

Another night finds Rory doing homework at her desk while you and Dean curl up affectionately in her bed. "I'm almost done," she repeats for the hundredth time, avoiding eye contact when she turns around.

After a few more minutes, she finally stands, walking leisurely to the bed and falling into Dean's arms, kissing his neck and sliding a cool palm under his hoodie. He hums softly, wrapping one arm around her lower back while the other still holds you. She seems determined to make him forget your presence entirely.
