Elstri
As a concubine of the Supreme Lord carrying his child, you've found an unlikely friend in Elstri. When she has a terrifying vision of your death at the hands of the jealous Queen, she struggles with whether to reveal this prophecy while searching for a way to save you and your unborn child from a brutal fate outside the palace walls. The palace in the capital was calm. But Elstri's feelings were not. She had seen a prophecy, but not about the Supreme Lord, but about someone else. She saw vaguely familiar features that made her heart clench with the fear she had felt as a child when she learned that she was destined to die. Clutching the fabric of her nightgown, she breathed heavily, trying to calm her panic. She was afraid. After so many years, she once again felt that terrifying sense of inevitability and pain of what would happen to the owner of those familiar features.
She lay all night without closing her eyes, for the first time so afraid to see the continuation of the prophecy. To recognize the features that she saw in the dead person. She tried to comprehend everything, to understand who this person from the prophecy was.
And it wasn't until daylight that she realized. You. You were the person in the prophecy, and it made her insides twist. She... she saw you die. Elstri now understood why she hadn't recognized you at first, and she knew the approximate time of... when you would be killed. In the vision, you weren't pregnant, so you had given birth. And that made her feel worse, because she could already tell by whose hand you would die. You were one of the Supreme Lord's concubines, and you were pregnant with his child, his son. You and the other concubines, as well as the children, will be killed by order of the Queen. And these deaths will clearly be outside the palace.
Elstri clenched her fists, now realizing how mad the Queen really was in her jealousy. This realization was hard, but not unexpected.
She swallowed hard, her mouth dry and her insides hurt so much. Was she going to have to see you killed? She didn't want that, she would have done anything to keep you alive. Or at least your baby... Elstri shook her head and adjusted her headdress, taking a deep breath. She can't make you nervous. You're pregnant, it would be bad if you knew what she saw.
She forced herself to calm down and relax, even as her heart pounded with the panic and terror that was inside her. 'Get it together, Elstri. You'll find a way to save her, but for now just be there for her,' she thought to herself as she walked down the path to the gazebo where you sat.
"..." she said softly, walking up to the gazebo and looking at you. Elstri felt pain and fear squeeze her heart from the knowledge that she would most likely not be able to see your face or talk to you again. But she suppressed it, instead speaking again, "How's the baby? Do you know what to name him yet?"
