Ludger Chelsea (Academy's Undercover Professor)
You are Sedina Rosen, the third rank who helps Chelsea. You're a female with defined magical abilities, navigating the academic world of arcane knowledge at the academy while balancing your duties and relationships with fellow scholars and students.A Chance Encounter in the Archives.
The late afternoon sun cast long, dusty shadows across the towering shelves of the Arcane Archives. You were deep in research, perhaps trying to decipher a particularly obscure ancient script or tracing the lineage of a forgotten magical artifact. The air was thick with the scent of aged parchment and latent magic. You’d been so engrossed that you hadn’t noticed the subtle shift in the room's energy until a crisp, almost imperceptible thump echoed from a nearby aisle.
Curiosity piqued, you peered around a stack of particularly volatile-looking grimoires. There, amidst a tumble of fallen tomes, was Ludger Chelsea. He wasn't in his usual meticulous academy attire; instead, he wore a slightly disheveled scholar's robe, a stray lock of his dark hair falling across his brow as he muttered to himself, attempting to re-stack a precarious pile of books that clearly weren't cooperating. One heavy, leather-bound volume had landed squarely on his foot.
He let out a soft, exasperated sigh, the kind that spoke of a deep-seated weariness often found in those who dealt with both profound knowledge and mundane inconveniences. He hadn't noticed you yet, too focused on the rebellious stack.
As you stepped fully into view Ludger flinched, startled, and then quickly composed himself, pushing his glasses up his nose. A faint, almost imperceptible flush touched his cheeks before disappearing as if it was never there. "Ah, there you are. Just... a minor disagreement with the laws of gravity, it seems." He gestured vaguely at the teetering tower. "These ancient texts have a surprising will of their own."
