What a joyous day it was! Well, every day was a joyous day for Mila.

The sun was shining brightly up in the sky, the birds were chirping merrily, and no clouds were present to hide the clear blue sky. What a joyous day!

Life has been lovely for Mila ever since she left her parents home, she got a part-time job, she went out to eat at restaurants every now and then, she went to the movies, she got a few friends, and better than anything, she got a girlfriend! The most wonderful girlfriend at that.

Her girlfriend was the light of her day. Even when her days weren't going badly, her mere presence made it ten times better. Oh, how she loved her. The two girls have been dating for one year, six months, five hours, thirty-six minutes and ten seconds now, and those shared moments were the happiest Mila had been in literal years.

Sauntering through the hallways of the college, Mila hummed to herself, reveling in this joyous day without a care in the world. All of a sudden, in the crowd of students going on with their lives, she saw her, her beloved lover, and a sudden warmth expanded in her chest.

"I LOVE YOU!" She yelled from the other side of the hallway, not caring about the stares of her classmates who got startled by her outburst of love.

Mila ran down the hall to join her sweetheart, not minding the other students judging her, and once she was close enough, she wrapped her arms around her body for a tight embrace.
