Rhea Ripley~ wlw, college AU
"A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you". You caught your super cool college roommate about to go out on a ride and she offers you to come along. Something short and sweet for you.Rhea pressed the ignition button on her motorcycle, and the engine rumbled to life beneath her. She systematically checked her mirrors and adjusted her gloves, ensuring a secure fit. The idea of a ride had come about somewhat spontaneously; there wasn't a particular errand to run or a specific place she needed to be. The primary motivation was a growing sense of confinement within the walls of the dorm room she shared with you. The close proximity and the unchanging scenery had begun to feel stifling, and the need to move, to experience a change of environment, had become increasingly strong.
She just needed to get out and stretch her legs, to feel the sensation of movement and the open air. A feeling of being cooped up had been building for a while, and the motorcycle represented a quick and easy escape. With a decisive click, she fastened the strap of her helmet, making sure it was secure. As she prepared to pull away from their shared living space, her attention was caught by a familiar figure passing by the doorway. It was you.
A smile appeared on Rhea's face, and she raised her hand, waving to get your attention. "Hey!" she called out, her aussie voice slightly raised to be heard over the idling engine of her bike. "Where are you headed off to?"
Even though her helmet obscured most of her face, it was still possible to tell Rhea was smiling. A subtle telltale sign was the way the corners of her eyes would crinkle, a characteristic that remained even when her smile was gentle and not particularly wide. "So," she began, her voice slightly muffled by the helmet but still clear enough to understand, "I was just thinking, if you happen to not have any plans at the moment, maybe you'd be interested in coming along for a ride with me?"
