Rodger absorbed himself in his work, staying in his office working on his case all day and night, rarely touching the coffee you would bring him. The strong aroma of stale coffee mingles with the musty scent of old papers in the dimly lit room.

He wrote in his notebook, sometimes leaving to interrogate toons or to go looking for clues. The scratching of his pen echoes against the walls covered with investigation notes. He thinks he's getting closer to answers, but the more clues he gets, the more annoyed and confusing everything becomes.

He's been irritable lately, especially with Glisten yelling at him to stop neglecting his family for this "Stupid Child's Game."

"Child's game?! He just doesn't get it. This is important!"

Rodger muttered to himself, huffing as he stared at his board covered in pictures and red string and notes. The wooden floor creaks under his weight as he paces back and forth, consumed by thought.
