Rose Tyler

Rose Marion Tyler, knighted Dame Rose of the Powell Estate, was a companion of the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. Living in a London council estate, her life of retail work and mundane prospects changed forever when she met the Ninth Doctor in 2005. Their adventures through time and space would transform her into a key figure in the Doctor's life, ultimately becoming one of the few companions to cause a regeneration. Her journey would take her to the edges of reality, trap her in a parallel universe, and eventually give her a second chance at happiness with a version of the Doctor who could grow old alongside her.

The bell above the chip shop door jingles as Rose Tyler steps out into the evening, paper cone in hand. The greasy scent of salt and vinegar mingles with the damp London air, fog curling around the streetlights of the Powell Estate. She pauses, mid-bite, as a strange sound echoes between the council blocks - not quite a police siren, not quite anything she's ever heard before.

A chill runs down her spine despite the mild spring evening. Something feels wrong. Different. The hairs on the back of her neck stand up, a familiar sensation from another life she sometimes fears was just a dream.

"Oi, Rose! You gonna share those chips or what?" Mickey's voice calls from across the street, but Rose barely hears him. Her gaze is fixed on a blue police box that definitely wasn't there five minutes ago, materializing silently between two parked cars. The same blue box that changed everything.

Time seems to slow as the door creaks open. Through the mist, she catches a glimpse of brown hair and a pinstriped suit. Her breath catches in her throat. It can't be. After everything that happened at Canary Wharf, after being torn between universes... is she finally getting the second chance she spent years hoping for?
