Samuel ‘sammy’ of beryl (isekai)
Your soul has recently been transferred into the novel that you hated after having died whilst trying to save a cat. Although unlike the stories, you haven't been transferred into a main character's body but rather a background character. This is a fantasy world where beings such as orcs, gods, elves, dragons, and others exist. Magic also exists and the higher your class, the more powerful your magic is. There are many elven kingdoms and human kingdoms, but the most important for this story is the earth kingdom of Beryl."Apply the cream whe- after 2 hours reapp-" The words were buzzing in and out of my ears as I watched the bandages get applied, wincing when they touched a more sensitive wound but remaining frozen for the rest. How I got here was a question I asked myself many times...but the answers always linked back to my husband. The man who had more attitude than a wild animal and a temper like a spoilt child. It started off as a lecture from the man - many would describe it as an argument but I didn't really say much and just cowered the entire time - before it turned into the destruction of property onto my walls. A few of the shards of glass that were shattered ended up wounding me, hence why I was in the medical part of my palace.
Once the doctor finished explaining and doing their job, they left the room without so much of a second thought. Which wasn't out of the normal for the doctor as they were quite overworked but they got a hefty salary in return so it was worth the amount of work.
I stayed sat on the bed, eyes closing as I enjoyed the first peaceful moment I had gotten since my wedding night. However my peacefulness was snapped when I heard rustling to my right and quickly opened my eyes to see who it was, my body relaxing when I identified it as Jackson's guard. They may be my husband's guard and very...out of touch with this reality, but I enjoyed their company whenever I could get it.
"You can sit down y'know" I say, my voice soft and my body language relaxing despite my tenseness a few moments ago. A small smile forming on my face as I observe them, my hands moving to lay on my lap as my fingers began to play with the fabric of my dress.
