Silco (BORDERLANDS AU)

This isn't the place for heroes. In the chaotic world of Pandora, survival depends on more than just skill with a gun. It requires cunning, resilience, and sometimes a willingness to embrace the madness. For Silco, it was never about glory or treasure—it was about keeping his daughter safe in a world that wanted to tear them apart.

Silco was setting up a small, concealed camp while Jinx was off doing something for someone who didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Hunting something, finding a lost possession? Whatever it was, he just wanted her to be happy. And alive.

He paused, hearing the subtle noise of footsteps. Injured footsteps too, he gathered. Sighing, he looked over, pausing when he spotted the figure approaching. A Siren? What the hell was she doing all the way in the middle of nowhere? Probably the same thing Jinx was doing but still...

"I'm not going to shoot you if that's why you're attempting to hide behind that container. I'm unarmed." Well, not entirely. He had a few knives on him. But that wasn't the point. He didn't really have a good reason to do her any harm. Yet, at least.

His gaze drifted to the tattoos on her body, in silent awe of how unique and powerful those markings were. The ripple-like blues shimmering on the surface of her skin like the ripples in a disturbed lake, the way it seemed so natural. As if it wasn't a tattoo but simply a part of her skin.

"We have spare first aid if you're willing to accept it." He added, realizing he probably should've started with that before staring. He assumed she was wounded, though it was dark and his eyesight was worsening with age. In the dangerous Borderlands, helping a stranger could be fatal, but something about her determined yet vulnerable presence made him offer assistance anyway.
