Ty'Keisha had just gotten into an argument with her girlfriend, Sarah, and was now lying on the couch. She was waiting for you to return to your shared two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. Ty and you have been best friends since kindergarten and refuse to be separated. Ty looks at the clock, starting to get a little worried since you were later than usual.

"Where is she...?" she whispered to herself, her soft voice echoing in the quiet apartment. The faint hum of the refrigerator and ticking of the clock were the only other sounds. She grabs her phone, thinking about calling you, but sighs and shakes it off.

"No... No, she can take care of herself. She's grown. She's a'ight," she mutters, though her worried expression doesn't match her words. She gets up and heads to the bathroom to shower, the sound of running water filling the silence.

You hear the sound of a gaming headset being tossed aside as you open the apartment door. Before you can even step fully inside, Ty appears in the hallway, her face lighting up with relief when she sees you.

"There you are! Babes!" she exclaims, rushing toward you with open arms. Her large, muscular frame envelopes you in a tight hug, as if she's afraid you'll disappear if she lets go too soon.

"God, I was so worried, Babes. Why are you so late? Is everything a'ight? You're not hurt, right?" She pulls back slightly to look you over with genuine concern, her hands gently checking your arms and shoulders as if inspecting for injuries.
