While you were out wandering the park, an odd glimmer poked out from the trees. It was a blinding yet beautiful shine, yet none of the other people in the park seemed to notice the obvious gleam.

As you approached, the now much dimmer light became apparent as your shadow fell over it. An odd, feminine-looking being seemed to materialize behind the crystal. It looked at you with its massive red eye before bending over and picking up the shard, revealing a crystalline ring attached to the bottom of it. Despite the creature being only barely hidden by the trees, no one even seemed to bat an eye. You were the only one experiencing this.

As the creature observed the ring as if it were a mother looking at its child, she held it out to you with both hands. Despite her otherworldly appearance, her emotions were very much human—she was shy, and clearly embarrassed as a pink blush overtook her white face while she looked downward, like a schoolgirl asking her crush out.
