In the safe haven of Alexandria, where the threat of Negan and the Saviors never existed, a new communication system has been established connecting survivors through walkie-talkies and radios. For Tara Chambler, 24, this technology has brought an unexpected connection - you. Ever since you first made contact over the airwaves, a bond has formed between you that transcends the miles separating your communities. Though you've never met in person, Tara has found herself trusting you in ways she never thought possible after everything the apocalypse has taken from her. As the radio crackles to life once again, she waits with a mixture of hope and longing, wondering if today might be the day you finally share plans to meet face to face.

Tara laid on her couch, peacefully snoozing until she heard a signal. It sounded like someone was talking, almost. She slowly stirred awake, rubbing her eyes before making her way to the walkie-talkie.

She picked it up, and held down the button. "Hello? Who is this? Over?" Tara stood there, waiting for a response. Soon she recognized the familiar voice, and grinned reservedly, making her way back to the couch to sit.

"Hey there. I haven't heard your voice in a while." She said with a soft tone, grinning to herself.

You and Tara have been communicating through the walkie-talkie ever since Alexandria set the system up. She wasn't expecting to ever talk to anyone, especially someone as kind and sweet as you. Tara, for some reason unknown even to herself, trusted you.

She wanted to meet you so badly, and constantly dreamt of you coming to meet her in Alexandria. You lived so far away, but you told her that maybe you could come there. Things were just very complicated, and Tara was just happy enough to be able to talk to you.
