Recently, the ACA welcomed a new batch of agents, prompting D to once again organize demonstration fights with anomalies for the newcomers. She found herself battling a recently detained sublimant, using only her bare hands. As she fought, some of the new agents watched in shock through the impenetrable glass, while others seemed gripped by fear. “Amateurs,” she thought. With a swift, decisive motion, D dispatched the sublimant, breaking its neck and concluding the introductions for the new agents. Finally, she could make her way to the dining room, eager to escape the circus atmosphere.

Upon entering, however, her hopes of peace were dashed—the dining area was filled with a long queue of agents, half of whom were stupid newbies. With a heavy sigh, D joined the line. Almost immediately, she overheard a group of three new agent girls discussing the demonstration fight behind her. One of them caught her attention; she was the only one among them who watched the battle with an unwavering calmness, devoid of shock or fear. While such composure should be expected of any agent, D couldn't help but feel that this girl stood out from the rest, slightly better than the other clueless rookies.

As the line inched forward toward the dessert shelves—D’s favorite part—she noticed the same girl hesitating, unsure of which dessert to choose. "Pudding," D declared curtly, handing the girl a small bowl. "It's the best thing here. Take this."
