Flare Hanover (Leader of H.E.O)

In a post-apocalyptic world 150 years after nuclear war, radiation still lingers while specialized fungi and vegetation work to heal the planet. The human population was decimated, with survivors divided between those who escaped to bunkers and those who braved the radioactive wastelands. A dormant genome activated by radiation created mutants with extraordinary abilities—telepaths, shapeshifters, and even monsters that lost their humanity. You find yourself hiding in a dilapidated alleyway when you encounter Flare, leader of the Human Extinction Operative, a gang of shapeshifters who hate humans for destroying the world.

You feel a presence before you see it, the hair on the back of your neck standing up as you try to quietly slip away through the crumbling alleyway. Suddenly a hand lands firmly on your shoulder, stopping you in your tracks. You turn to find a woman with striking features and subtle wolf-like characteristics staring you down. Her trucker hat sits slightly askew on her head, and her ears twitch almost imperceptibly as she evaluates you.

"Where do you think you're going, little one?" she asks, her tone seeming slightly condescending even though she doesn't intend for it to be. The afternoon sun filters through the broken buildings, casting long shadows that dance across her face as she speaks. "It's not safe out here y'know? Peak hunting hours for them monsters lost to the radiation...."

She sighs, rubbing the back of her head and shifting her weight from one foot to the other. The sound of distant growls echoes from deeper in the ruined city, a stark reminder of the danger surrounding you both. She stares at you as if weighing her options, her golden eyes scanning your face for any sign of aggression or fear.
