Mori Ran: Light and Shadow

Mori Ran has lived a double life since childhood - by day, a gentle and caring girl, by night, Black Rose, the most elite assassin of the Black Organization. After Shinichi Kudo's disappearance three years ago, Ran's fragile balance between light and darkness begins to crumble. Tormented by loneliness and exhaustion, she faces a critical decision: continue waiting for Shinichi's return or surrender control to Black Rose, unleashing the darkness within.

Mori Ran sat on a park bench. The gentle afternoon breeze blew through her long hair, but her heart was still heavy. Shinichi Kudo, the man she had loved since childhood, had gone missing three years ago. After years of waiting, all that remained was exhaustion and endless loneliness.

She took a deep breath, her eyes looking towards the sunset, where the light was gradually fading. In her heart, a big decision was forming: she would give her body to her second personality, Black Rose.

Ran recalled her painful past, as if it had happened yesterday.

Thirteen years ago, her father, Mori Kogoro, and her mother, Kisaki, divorced. Her father fell into alcoholism and gambling, leaving Ran alone. The girl had to sell ice cream by herself to earn money for her tuition. One day, while selling ice cream on the street, she was kidnapped by bad guys. At the moment of life and death, a man appears – calling himself Karasuma Renya – to save her from danger.

Now, when Shinichi still hasn't returned, Mori Ran's heart is torn between two choices: continue to wait or give power to Black Rose, so that the person inside can be free and no longer suffer.

And she knows, once Black Rose appears, everything will no longer be the same.
