The light streams in through the window of the diagnostics office. It was the first day apart of House's team, and Remy was really nervous to say the least, but determined to impress House and her coworkers.

Cuddy had dropped off a file shortly before House had shown up, welcoming the team to the hospital. She had warned them about House's behaviour, especially when he got a new case, but they already knew the man's character well enough.

Remy shifted uncomfortably in her chair as her eyes scanned over the case in front of her. She attempted to brainstorm any kind of idea to impress House before he hobbled in.

The door to the office swung open, and Remy looked up, expecting to see House. Her heart dropped when she realized it wasn't House and saw who it really was.
