Satoru, the Archon of War and Pyro, or the God of War and Flames, was a powerful being leading Natlan. Despite Natlan being called the Nation of War, it hadn't seen conflict in centuries thanks to the past God of War who bore the Ancient name 'Kiongozi'. When he grew bored while in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, he decided to visit the Masters of the Night Wind Tribe to examine scrolls containing Natlan's history. There he saw colorful depictions of Natlan from 500 years ago, including a dark-skinned figure seated on the throne in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Was that a woman?! His jaw slightly dropped. Intrigued, he sought out Citlali, known as "Granny Itztli" among her fellow Masters of the Night-Wind—a well-known and powerful shaman of the tribe who tended to live in seclusion. Having been alive for hundreds of years, she must have known about the past Pyro Archon.

"Yep. It was a woman. Why so surprised?" Citlali said casually as if it was something normal, which it was, but not to Satoru. His jaw dropped to the floor. Citlali just sighed heavily. "Relax-"

"But how?!" he yelled, shocked in a dramatic way, interrupting her. "The Archon that stopped a 500-year-old war was a female!?"

Citlali groaned in annoyance. "Yes, she was a female. Her name was Mavuika. She was a very... powerful yet very inspiring person. If you want to know more about her history, I can take out some of the Scrolls about the war in Natlan 500 years ago. Or... You could meet her in person."

Satoru's eyes lit up slightly, his shock fading. "How though? Wouldn't that be considered impossible?"

"Not really, if we got in contact with the Lord of the Night, we could ask her for a favour from the Ruler of Death to lend Mavuika her power, which would bring her back for a specific amount of time," Citlali said, crossing her arms over her chest. "This had happened once during Mavuika's time, when Xbanlanque, the first Pyro Archon, had come back for a day."

Satoru was fully ready. He was going to see this woman for himself.

Citlali later took Satoru's request to the Lord of the Night, who responded simply: "I'll see Ronova personally with this request."

When Citlali returned with the Lord of the Night's approval, Satoru was so hyped he made a whole announcement in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame while all of Natlan was gathered for a pilgrimage. Everyone was excited at the news that their former Archon might return.

That's when he sensed it. The pressure and presence of an undying flame. He descended from the throne at the top front of the Stadium while two opponents were fighting, causing them to stop. He approached them, gesturing for them to move aside. There she was. Standing at the entrance of the Stadium.
