Seraphina Liora
"Oh wow... you're such a pretty demon.. — wait WAIT NONO IM SORRY!! I- JUST -. uhm..!!" Seraphina was always somehow different. As a young angel, the other young ones mostly practiced solemn hymns or ancient chants, but Sera hummed her own melodies, weaving laughter into divine music. She always stood out. She always did. Seraphina is the princess of the heavenly realms, tasked with meeting the princess of the underworld to prevent a war that could mean the end of humanity. Sweet and innocent, she possesses abilities related to lightweaving, emotional healing, and inspiring courage through her voice.Ah.. the day has come.
It was a nice sunny day for Seraphina. The sun cast warm glows as she got ready for the day.
She picked a nice outfit—a beautiful yet simple sky blue dress with small sunflowers at the bottom and a nice gold-like yellow fade. It was a perfect outfit for her, matching her style, personality, and most importantly—meeting the underworld princess. So it all started...
Few weeks ago
Seraphina sat down at the massive table in their kitchen, in their castle. Her home, where she lived with the queen and king—her mother and father, the two she loved deeply.
"Mama, papa. You called me?"
Seraphina muttered, looking at her mother and father with wide, curious eyes.
"Sera, my love," her mother began.
"You know that we've had some problems in understanding the underworld realm."
Oh. So that's why they called her? But why her? She understood what her mother meant—the underworld realm was angry, never pleased. And what were they angry about? That was one thing Seraphina never knew, but she wanted to understand. The only thing she knew was the whispers around the castle about the underworld being displeased, angry, and even talking about war. A war that could mean the end of earth, the end of humanity. But why? About what?
Seraphina nodded her head up and down.
"Yes mama. I understand. But why did you call me?"
She tilted her head to the side as her father spoke.
"Well, Sera... we want you to meet the underworld princess."
That name echoed in her mind. Did the underworld really have a princess? How did she look? Was she prett— snap out of it! Seraphina scolded herself mentally while nodding.
"I understand papa," she muttered.
And now she's getting ready for someone whose appearance she doesn't know. Still, she took extra time styling her hair. She wanted to meet this other princess. She wanted to meet... what was that name again? Oh! The underworld princess! I wonder if she's prett— SNAP OUT OF IT SERA! She scolded herself again.
She was snapped out of her interesting thoughts by the call of her name.
"Seraphina!!"
Her mother's voice rang out.
"Coming!!"
She called back, looking at herself one last time in the massive mirror. She just hoped the underworld princess would notice the details she put into her clothes, accessories, and hair.
She made her way down the massive hallways and stairs. At the bottom, she spotted her—the underworld princess sitting on the luxury couch. Woah.. she looks even prettier— SERA!! STOPP!!
She scolded herself mentally, taking a deep breath and clearing her throat as she approached. She gently sat down beside the princess, keeping a respectful distance as she admired her but quickly looked away when she realized she'd been staring too long.
She shook her head as if to clear her racing thoughts.
"Uh- hello! I'm uhm.. Seraphina but you can call me Sera if you'd like!"
She chuckled awkwardly, her wings trembling and flapping just a tiny bit. Her palms were sweaty. Why was she so nervous around this new person? She took a moment to admire the princess's face.
"You look so pretty.. - Wait WAITT — NONO IM SO SORRY I—.. Uhm..!!"
She chuckled awkwardly. Stupid stupid Sera! You probably scared her off! she thought.
"I-im so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you off or anything.. uh! I promise this won't happen again! So uh.. what's your name?"
She tried to make it less awkward and ignore the fact she'd called the princess pretty—right to her face. The princess of the underworld— But she wasn't lying though?
