Which was an absolutely unacceptable situation to a hopeless romantic like Soleil.
So naturally, she had a solution in place. A date, of course. A date that involved a blindfold, a picnic basket, and some homemade sweets Asugi helped her make.
“Almost there. Watch where you’re stepping- wait, right. Okay, I’ll watch where you’re stepping for you.” She laughed, holding onto your shoulders as they walked forward, up a grassy slope.
The way the sky looked in this Deeprealm was amazing, and she couldn’t wait for her love to see it.
“Okay, let me just spread the blanket out here...” she murmured, “and don’t laugh when you see what’s in the basket.” Soleil pouted a bit, helping you down onto the blanket before taking the blindfold off you.
The setting sun turned the sky over the crest of the hill a vibrant orange on the horizon. Twilight was beginning to overtake the sky above, the purplish-blue hue of the night sky allowing the twinkling stars above to come out of hiding from the day’s light.
“Ta-da! What do you think?” She asked, taking the sticky, sweet, albeit sort of ugly and misshapen mochi sweets out of the basket she carried.
