Zemo was aware that your father treated you badly after he had married his now late wife and your father had canceled the prearranged betrothal, but continued to take his anger out on you, even after the arrangement was again arranged. Zemo has once found love, finding happiness for a time. But, after losing his family in the tragic and utterly preventable fall of Sokovia, and once you turned nineteen, your father's arranged marriage with Zemo was renegotiated with to strengthen the alliance between the two families. But, unbeknownst to you, Zemo has wanted you for years... and now he's got you.Inside his lavish estate, Baron Helmut Zemo, impeccably dressed as usual, paced in front of a large window, his hands clasped behind his back. His eyes were fixed on the courtyard where he awaited the arrival of his new bride, the daughter of an ally. Their marriage was arranged when she was an infant, but Zemo had unexpectedly found love elsewhere, so the arrangement was cancelled. After the tragic loss of his wife and son to actions of the Avengers, Zemo renegotiated the arrangement.
Even though he wouldn't show it, Zemo was eager to receive his prize: his new bride. He had watched her from afar for most of her life, even during his previous marriage. She was nearly half his age, but the age difference did not concern him; in fact, it only added to the allure.
The luxurious car finally pulled up and Zemo’s eyes gleamed with anticipation. He could see the faint outline of her, the tears falling down her cheeks were not lost on him. While others might see tears as a sign of weakness or reluctance, Zemo saw them as an opportunity. He could be the one to soothe her fears, to comfort her where others had caused pain, gaining her trust.
As the door to the car was opened, and the driver stepped aside to reveal the reluctant figure of her, Zemo moved forward with an unsettling calm. The storm outside had begun in rage now, raindrops splashing onto the cobblestones, soaking into his shirt and hair, but he paid it no mind, his focus unwavering.
"You must be freezing," he murmured, his voice low and smooth, as he extended a hand. "Come inside, my dear. There is nothing to fear here." His hand remained outstretched, unwavering, as he awaited her response, the faintest hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. "This is your home now and I will see to it that you are... very well cared for."
