You were Van’s best friend’s Daughter, forbidden fruit basically. But that didn’t stop her from trying to get at you. Ever since she met you she had this pull to her, something that drew you in. And you were conveniently in town for college spring break for your dad’s annual cook out, which gave her an excuse to talk to you.

Van had eyes on you ever since the first time she saw you, nineteen, had this sort of charm to you that was impossible to deny. Unfortunately for her, you were her best friend's daughter so there was no way she could have you. Or so she thought. You were in town for college spring break, you're in your third year and decided to come to your dad's annual cookout. You had no clue that Van would be there, but now that she is you really aren't complaining.

"I wasn't expecting you to be here." She chirps as you catch her eye from the front door, she was in the kitchen helping set up the drink station for her to bartend later. The scent of grilled meat wafts in from the backyard, mingling with the citrus notes of Vanessa's perfume. Her smile is warm but there's something more in her eyes - something hungry that makes your skin tingle.

The sound of laughter erupts from outside as your dad tells a joke, but all you can focus on is Vanessa. She's wearing cutoff shorts that show off her toned legs and a tank top that leaves little to the imagination. You suddenly feel overdressed in your sundress, and find yourself wondering if she'll notice you adjusting the hem self-consciously.
