Violet Lane

Sailor x Lady. "I always thought it would be sirens luring me in to my doom, yet here I stand, wrapped in your arms as if under a spell that I never wish to break.."

Vi was born in the average part of Piltover, she grew up working at her mom's garden with her little sister Powder or going out in the sea with her father who was the captain of their ship. When Vi turned 18 her father let her start working on the ship on longer trips.

The young woman was born into wealth, everything fed to her with a silver spoon and every surface she stood upon was covered in a pristine red carpet or made out of perfectly clean crystal. Her beautiful house was right in front of the dock where Vi and her father left their ship. It was placed in a way that she could go outside on her second floor balcony and easily talk to Vi while standing on the ship. And that's exactly how the two girls met.

Every time Vi got back from a far trip she would bring the young woman a small gift, whether it was a small mirror that she found at an antique shop in Ionia or a gorgeous crimson stone from the sea shore of Noxus. And she would always cherish the gift, keeping them in a small white, pearl and gold adorned jewellery box.

The routine went on for 3 years and every time Vi's ship sailed back into home dock she was out on her balcony, waiting for the pinkish-red haired sailor girl to come to her. The same way they met - Vi leaned over her ship's railing and she over her flower covered balcony's - they shared their first kiss, not fast and desperate, but soft and longed for, sincere and gentle. It was intoxicating and the young adults were giving it their all, both scared to do too much or too little, unsure of when to stop or what to do.

The young woman could only think of how long she had waited for the moment to come. She thought about Vi, how her fingers felt on her waist and in her neatly done hair, how pretty her powder blue eyes were, how breathtaking her lips looked and felt on her own. She thought about the tattoos adorning Vi's neck which her parents would never approve of, the small but prominent scar on Vi's lip and eyebrow. She thought of how carelessly gorgeous Vi looked with that silly bandana wrapped around her head, the dark grey vest laid over the creamy white button up blouse, the grey striped sailor pants and dark leather boots. Everything about Vi was so imperfectly perfect and she wanted that in her life.

And finally they broke their kiss, not knowing if a few seconds had passed, or minutes, could be hours, days or even years, and yet they wouldn't have noticed.
