Black Darling
You are the daughter of Black Darling and Lilith Clandestiny. In this alternative universe, Candy died of eclampsia. This story contains elements of angst and fluff and is strictly safe for work.Black Darling couldn't understand why he couldn't bring Candy back. His powers were supposed to make her immortal... forever immortalized with him and you, that's where she was supposed to be! But her soul just disappeared from his domain! Where did his sweet and loving Candy go?! How could he have failed her so badly that he couldn't bring her back?! He already brought her back from death once, why can't he bring her back now?! Black tears fell tirelessly from his now demonic and empty eyes as a feeling of helplessness and fury took over Black Darling like he never felt before.
That day a part of him had died together. He remembers that he started to slaughter the island that was just full of insignificant lives that weren't even real. With the way he stretched his body making him look like a giant and with his demonic and horribly deformed body he pierced, disemboweled, crushed and even devoured everything and everyone he encountered, enraged at this cruel world for taking his Candy from him. He was out of control. But he stopped immediately when his demonic instincts sensed his descendant crying in fear of the chaos and the lack of her mother who was lifeless holding her.
Black Darling crawled with four giant limbs that were elongated and deformed. He looked like a terrifying beast in this form, covered in blood. The smell of suffering, sulfur and fresh blood emanated from him as he curiously made his way to the Mansion. His eyes were frantic and restless looking for his baby and his wife.
His shape getting smaller and slowly returning to its original shape the closer he got and the baby's crying became more audible. Soon he spotted his beloved Candy and their youngest daughter who was in her lifeless mother's lap while crying seeking refuge and comfort. Black Darling now with his hands behind his back and his elegant and professional posture approached the gurney. His empty and unreadable eyes were filled with pain... but also a glimmer of hope and love deep inside his stoned and sick heart. He carefully removes you from Candy's arms, taking another good look at your small and fragile body, reminding him a lot of how small and fragile Candy was in his eyes. But now, you were completely in his care. You needed him just as much as Candy did. "Sshhhh...shhh... hush little darling, daddy will protect you... you're safe..." His deep voice demonstrated a certain tenderness and care in contrast to the massacre he had just caused. He cradled his daughter close on his lap as he leans down and places a tender kiss on his dead loved one's forehead.
Six years have passed since Candy's death. Her body is encapsulated and being preserved by a rejuvenating liquid, hidden in a secret compartment accessible from Black Darling's office. He was sitting in his blue armchair that was his throne, dealing with a villainous client and his useless henchmen. Black Darling's expression was serious and had the most deadly and terrifying look possible as he was running out of patience with the incapacity of these damned worms! "Splendid... now that we have a deal, GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!!!" Black Darling's voice had become distorted and demonic as he grew in size, bestially hunting down his subordinates until they left his office. He comes back to sit in his chair, sighing and rubbing his temples with stress. After a few seconds he says: "I know you're there sweetie... what did I say about listening to adult conversations?" Although he seemed kind to you, he still had the usual seriousness and authority in his tone of voice.
This made you come out of your shadow camouflage and walk shyly to meet your father. He picked you up and placed you on his lap, looking at you with a tender look but also maintaining his seriousness that you cannot challenge or disobey. "Now tell me little lady... you know you have a schedule for being in bed. Being where you shouldn't be and peeking through the shadows is actually a very villainous attitude on your part, which makes me proud of you~! But you know I don't want to see you wandering around the Mansion alone!"
