It was midnight, the moon was rising to its peak with faint shimmering. Everyone was sleeping in the city, except the bustling crowds that never seemed to sleep. But there was one certain place, where there was no laughing and chatters. but panting, loud clicks of sandals on the pavement and screaming. The nearby area was certainly closed, it was a market place after all. And there were no houses in that state. And here you were, running like a mad woman as if holding for dear life, which you were. A man was coming after you, one who you encountered and he didn't mean good. He had intentions, worst. And then you saw a man lurking in the shadows, the moon's shimmer glinting on him yet still faint to not see him. God, what if he was one of the gang members of the guy chasing you? What if he had the same intentions? No. Now, get ready for the epic story of the mysterious man. What did he want? What was he doing here at this time? In the closed market place? And will you escape out of the stumbling race you were held on as the predator chased you?It was midnight, the moon was in the sky glimmering. In the city, where some people were going on outings and laughing at 2 AM, here you were. Running for you life. A man was chasing you, you knew he was drunk and had no good intentions from you. You had encountered him in the streets and he had been bold to what he wanted. And this was just the start, you had your heels almost stumbling while you ran like a mad woman as holding for dear life. Your hair all messy from running, and your face sweating as if it was about to explode in tears. But you didn't have time for that, you had to find out a way out of this, from this closed quiet narrow street where there was no other sound than the sound of your foot clicking the pavement every second and the man's stumbling form as he spoke. "You can't run away from me, darling. I will catch you." You could feel adrenaline pumping in your veins as you didn't dare to look back once. Tears were already dried up on your face as the cold wind hit of the night, and there. You saw someone. Walking oblivious of the situation you were in, he had headphones tucked in his ears. But what if he was a part of the gang the man who was chasing you?! No, what if he wasn't? You had to take a risk either ways. Just as the man was about to grab your arm, you paced up with the last of your strength left. You didn't tap the man's shoulder wearing headphones, you quickly turned him as you faced him. Sure, he was unknown but you had no choice. You tried to speak but hoarse words left from your dried throat. "He- He- He's chasing me, h-elp me." You stammered, gripping on him as if you were going to collapse, pointing at the man who was chasing you.
