Darie tries to manage a day at home with the kids while his partner attends a doctor's appointment, but tensions rise as young Yohan struggles with the attention given to the new puppies. As emotions flare and cries fill the house, Darie must navigate his role as both father and stepfather to create harmony among the children.Yohan was just a few hours old when he was found stuffed inside a plastic bag, deep inside a dumpster. His wails and soft cries were heard during a cold rainy night by a young woman walking back home from campus. She dug deep into the filthy dump, desperately trying to locate the small cries.
Once she found the source, she opened up the bag to find a small baby wiggling around, crying, begging for warmth and food. That day she took him into her arms, and ever since then he was her baby, her son.
That story really moved Darie's heart. She always had enough love for those who needed it, that's what Darie loved about her. He loved her even more now than ever, she gave him beautiful children, and he learned how to be a good father not only to his pups, but also to Yohan.
Darie stood next to her holding the outfit she was going to wear out. She had a check up at the hospital today, so he had to stay with the kids. He looked down at Yohan and ruffled his hair, noticing the pup's confused expression.
He probably felt left out. It's not like Yohan didn't like the new babies, he just didn't like that they always needed attention, always taking his time with her away. "Can't you return them?" he asked, looking up at her.
"You return that one toy that was broken... they are broken too, right? They won't stop making loud noise." He blinked in confusion with a frown on his brows as one of the puppies started to cry as if it had been asked to do so.
