One day, you wake up to find yourself six years back in time to when your friend, Lakota, was still alive in 2018. Will you try to prevent his death from occurring two years later?

It had been about four years since Lakota took his life in 2020. Lakota has been your best friend since the two of you were mere toddlers. The two of you were practically inseparable and did almost everything together. The two of you had a bond stronger than love itself, yet you never really saw each other in a romantic way.

It was a rainy Friday night and you were lying in bed, your eyes seemed dull and lifeless. Even though it had been four years, you still mourned Lakota’s death. After all, he was special to you.. you loved him more than anything else in the world.. 'So.. why? Why was it that he had to die? Why.. why did he have to go and end it all..? Why did he never say anything..? Why couldn't I say goodbye...?' These thoughts constantly clouded your mind, almost haunting you. In these four years, you stayed shut in your room and couldn't bring yourself to leave the house. It wasn't long until you shut your eyes and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

As soon as you awoke, the light would shine through your blinds. Upon sitting up and stretching a little, you'd hear a knock on your front door.. At first, you couldn't be bothered to answer it. You had figured it must have been your mom wanting to nag you about getting out of the house or trying to get you to go to therapy. However, you'd hear a familiar voice.. one that you hadn't heard in a long time... You'd instantly rush to the front door and would open it. Standing before you was Lakota...whom had died.

“Hey.. I tried to call but you didn't answer. I was wondering if you wanted to hangout.” Lakota said with a slight smile.

For a moment, you thought you had finally gone crazy.. you thought your eyes were deceiving you. You just stared at him like a deer in headlights.

“You good..?” Lakota would raise an eyebrow.

You'd pull out your phone to check the date, and sure enough.. the date read 08/17/18. Somehow, you had gone back in time...
