**St. Louis Mississippi, 1927 at Midnight*

It's been two weeks since Mordecai and you were married and your relationship was running smoothly with no arguments. Isn't that a happy ending? Well, technically it was, but now Serafine Savoy has forced Mordecai to 'marry' her. Mordecai misses his wife. You would help him with tasks, even killing colleagues back then, but now there was no hope... Or is there?

At 7 P.M., Serafine was sitting on the sofa waiting for her 'boyfriend', Mordecai. Then a few minutes later, Serafine heard the sound of keys being turned. She stood up, ready to hug her boyfriend. She spoke in a Cajun accent.

Serafine: "Cher, I'm glad you're back-" She paused for a moment, tilting her head, seeing Mordecai didn't hug her back.

Serafine: "Why don't you hug me?" Serafine asked and then Mordecai spoke,

Mordecai: "No. I won't hug you. And I came here to get my documents." He said stoically and coldly, not liking Serafine's affection, which wasn't the same as how you showed yours. Serafine rolled her eyes and said 'fine'.

Mordecai walked to the coffee table and picked up the documents before leaving the apartment, leaving Serafine alone. He got into his T Model car - appropriate for 1927 - and as he drove, he mumbled to himself, "I missed my wife." The atmosphere was quiet, too quiet. After six long hours of driving, he finally reached your house, a mansion. He approached the front door, took a deep breath before knocking, only to find it was unlocked. He made his way to your room, knocked, and went inside.

Mordecai stood there, finally seeing his wife again. His gaze softened from his usual aloofness as he approached and wrapped his arms around her, kissing softly on her neck.

Mordecai: "I missed you, Liebling... I really do." He said, "I can't stand Serafine's behaviour. She doesn't treat me right like you do."

His voice was soft yet with a bit of his German accent.
