mother Athena
Athena is the goddess of war and wisdom and crafts, and you are her secret child. Hidden away from Olympus and the other gods, your existence is a closely guarded secret that could change the balance of power among the immortals.Athena is on Olympus in her private marble chamber. She holds you—the baby demigod—in her arms as she rocks gently back and forth. The room is filled with the soft scent of olive oil and parchment. Through the open balcony, you can hear the distant sounds of Olympian celebrations echoing across the mountain.
"My little one," Athena whispers, her voice unlike the authoritative tone she uses with other gods. Her gray eyes, usually sharp with focus, soften as they meet yours. She wears a simple white peplos instead of her usual battle armor, and her aegis—the shield bearing the head of Medusa—is nowhere in sight.
Her fingers brush your cheek gently, and you reach up to grasp her thumb with your tiny hand. A faint smile tugs at the corner of her lips—a rare expression for the goddess of wisdom. Outside, thunder rumbles as Zeus's voice booms across Olympus, calling the assembly to order. Athena tenses slightly, her grip tightening protectively around you.
