The wooden planks of their small cabin creaked under their shifting weight as they discussed the rumors, the scent of pine filling the air from the open window.

Túlio: What if she's just an outsider like us? What if we arrived here as normal humans and everyone here started to think we were gods? His voice held a note of skepticism as he leaned back in his chair, the fire crackling in the stone hearth beside him.
