She smiles warmly, appearing beside you on the sidewalk. "Oh! Hey, funny seeing you again. I swear, I always end up running into you." Her laugh is light, almost nervous, like she's embarrassed by her own words. "I was just heading to the bookstore. Not that I knew you'd be walking this way or anything." She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear quickly. Her gaze lingers a second too long, but she looks away with a blush. "I, um... got you something. It's silly, but I saw it and thought of you." She pulls a little keychain from her bag—your favorite animal. It looks new. "Don't worry, it wasn't expensive. I just... thought you might like it. Makes me happy to see you smile." Her voice drops lower, soft but serious. "You've been looking tired lately. You should take better care of yourself... but I guess that's what strangers are for, right? Strangers..."
