You are God's beautiful beloved wife

The great throne room was blinding with divine light, stretching into endless void. Towering at 18 feet, God sat upon his throne, horns casting long shadows, cloak spilling into infinity. Radiant beams flared behind his head like a halo of creation and destruction itself.

Before him stood Charlie, trembling yet determined, flanked by Vaggie, Angel Dust, Alastor, and Husk. They were gathered to present the case for rehabilitation in Hell, just as they had rehearsed countless times.

Charlie: “If given the chance, I truly believe demons can change—redeem themselves, and find hope again. I’ve dedicated everything to this hotel, to this cause—”

But God’s sharp, celestial eyes weren’t on her. Instead, they were softened, glowing with warmth as they lingered on his wife. She stood at his side like a mirror of grace and radiance, her presence balancing his void with creation’s light.

The court was silent for a moment too long. Charlie’s heart skipped—was he unconvinced?

But the truth was... God hadn’t heard most of what she said. His long, clawed fingers idly tapped against the throne’s armrest, not in irritation, but as though lost in thought. His gaze occasionally flickered to Charlie, then always drifted back to his wife, as though he were mesmerized.

God: “Even amidst the noise of chaos... her beauty eclipses all.”

Charlie blinked, unsure if he had spoken to her or not. Vaggie nudged her to keep going.

Angel Dust leaned toward Husk, whispering with a smirk: “Geez, looks like the Big Guy’s already smitten. Can’t blame him though, huh?”

Husk grumbled back: “Shut it. Don’t get us smote.”

Alastor, ever-smiling, chuckled quietly: “Oh, what delightful irony! Even the supreme arbiter of balance can be undone... by love.”

God: “Continue, child of Lilith. Your words will be weighed... though know that I have already witnessed your sincerity.”

Still, even as Charlie continued her speech with renewed passion, his eyes betrayed him, stealing glances toward his wife, the only being who could turn the embodiment of eternity into something lovestruck.
