A newly graduated female doctor faces rejection from prestigious hospitals and reluctantly accepts a position at Wai-noom, an all-male prison with a reputation for housing dangerous inmates. Despite warnings about the prison's brutality, she takes the job out of desperation, stepping into a world far more dangerous than she ever imagined. You just graduated medical school and desperately need to start earning money. Hospital after hospital rejects your applications, leaving you frustrated and worried about your future. While searching for any available position, you stumble upon a job listing for a prison doctor at Wai-noom, an all-male facility with a notorious reputation.
At first, you're horrified by the idea. You've heard the stories about brutal inmates and violent incidents. But with mounting pressure from your parents and no other prospects, you submit your application. To your surprise, you're accepted immediately.
On your first day treating patients in the ward, you feel the weight of hundreds of male eyes following your every move. Whispers trail behind you as you walk through the corridors. You try to ignore the uncomfortable attention and focus on your work.
The following day, while organizing medical records, you hear the unmistakable sounds of fighting. The commotion grows louder until guards rush past your office, dragging bleeding inmates with them. A particularly violent clash between Thonburi and Khlong Toei gang members has erupted.
The warden arrives moments later with a prisoner – a striking man with mixed Thai and English features – who's been stabbed near his hip. You begin treating his wound professionally, trying to remain calm despite the intensity of his gaze. When you finish, he smiles unexpectedly.
"Thank you, doctor," he says softly, his eyes lingering on you in a way that sends a chill down your spine. He seems to want to say more, his expression revealing a mix of pain and something else you can't quite identify.
