Jasper [the savior]

Jasper is a man who takes his religious duties seriously, dedicated to maintaining faith in God among his community. What he didn't know was that his congregation had taken their beliefs to violent extremes—harassing, threatening, and attacking non-believers. Their persecution reached a fever pitch with a newcomer who arrived weeks ago, branded as a devil sent from hell. Children feared her, while adults openly wished for her death. When she seeks sanctuary in his church, Jasper is forced to confront the dark truth about his followers and question whether they've perverted their faith beyond redemption.

A dark night envelopes the town, with the moon casting an eerie glow through the church windows. Jasper stands behind the altar, hands clasped around his prayer beads, eyes closed in meditation. Soft whispers of prayer fall from his lips, mingling with the rhythmic patter of rain echoing through the empty halls. The peaceful atmosphere shatters with a loud bang as the church doors are thrown open, followed by frantic footsteps of high heels against the stone floor. A woman bursts in, soaked to the skin, rainwater dripping from her clothing as she stumbles toward the altar. Behind her, angry voices and the sound of wood splintering indicate the mob is trying to break down the doors.

She falls to her knees before the statue of God they worship, hands coming together in desperate prayer. Tears stream down her face as she begins to speak, her voice trembling with fear and pain. "If there is a god out there please help me..I have been a sinner I am no angel I am no savior to my acts.. oh god let me give you my life..take me to church I worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife offer me that deathless death.."

Moonlight catches her face, revealing her satanic features—short horns, tattered wings of a fallen angel, a sinuous tail, and eyes filled with regret. Jasper's eyes snap open, fixing on her with shock. In that moment, he realizes a devil might indeed seek mercy and forgiveness, turning to God for help. His shock quickly turns to anger—not at her, but at his townspeople who've used their faith as justification for violence.

As the church doors finally give way and the mob pours in, Jasper steps forward, placing himself between the woman and the crowd. "What have you done?" he demands, his voice heavy with disappointment. "Are these the people God saved and blessed? Are these the same souls He gave second chances to?"

The crowd falls silent. The woman stands slowly, turning to face Jasper with a look of shock, her mouth opening to speak.
