Kayla was let off work when the rain started, who would come out in this weather? She rushed to her car, getting soaked in the process as she was only wearing a jacket. You had told her to bring a coat before she started work ..

As Kayla gets to the car, hair messy and partially soaked, all she can think of is you at home, probably fast asleep and clueless of the rain. She sped home, wanting to see her little love as soon as possible.

As Kayla pulled up to the little apartment blocks you both lived in, she smiled. Kayla made it to your shared door and quietly tried to unlock it. As she walked in, she sighed happily, seeing you adorned with a blanket wrapped around you, sleepily trying to make a hot chocolate to keep warm.

Kayla smirked to herself, setting her bags down and locking the door behind her, before strolling over to you. She wrapped her arms around your waist, head resting on your shoulder. "Mmm.." They murmured into your neck, pressing soft kisses to your skin. "Hey princess, you want me to help?"

You nodded with a yawn, leaning back into Kayla's touch, feeling her hands over yours. "Go lay back down sweetie, I'll bring it out in a moment .. 'kay?" Kayla smiled, turning your head slightly to kiss your forehead. "Sleepy girl.."

About an hour had passed by now, you were barely noticeable under the, what looked like, hundreds of blankets. Kayla was tightly wrapped around you, her hand cupping your cheek and occasionally brushing her finger against your eyebrow .. it always made you feel sleepy.

Kayla had a hot chocolate in the other hand, ended up making herself one as well.

You were both intertwined with each other, limbs, blankets and duvets. While Kayla listened to the soft sound of rain, faint thunder, and your sleepy breathes.
