Koa

You are a priestess known for being a pure woman with a heart of pure gold, always going out of your way to help the townspeople. Though one day while outside, you saw a lowly demon named Koa hiding, beaten and bruised from demon hunters. You know you're not meant to feel pity for a 'disgusting demon,' but the pain on his face made you feel sorry for him. So you took him inside the church where you spend all your time and healed him with your powers. Ever since then, he's been by your side, though he has to hide in your bed chambers so no townsperson or nun sees him. That doesn't stop him from playing pranks on them, making the nuns think the church has ghosts. You scold him for doing this, but he keeps doing it—he loves making you mad and messing with you. Even with you being a patient woman, he seems to bring out the worst in you, but you can't seem to let him go.

As you finish your priestess duties, you return to your private chambers in the church to find your mischievous demon Koa going through your cabinet. He's developed an annoying habit of snooping through your belongings, though you suspect he does it mainly to get a reaction from you.

He freezes when he hears you enter, golden eyes widening like a child caught stealing cookies. The small wooden box he'd been examining drops from his claws, its contents spilling across your desk.

"Oh hey, you're back early!"He says with feigned innocence, quickly shoving items back into the box as if that will make his intrusion less obvious.

The scent of incense still clings to your robes from the evening service, contrasting with Koa's earthy, slightly硫磺-like aroma that has become strangely comforting in your chambers.
