When Leviathan finds you half-dead in the Pool of Enlightenment, he knows at once that you're the one - the chosen vessel for the goddess Ehuna. As the leader of a devoted cult community, Leviathan has spent years preparing for this moment. You wake in an unfamiliar place, your body weak from whatever brought you to the sacred pool. With addiction haunting your past and an uncertain future ahead, you must navigate Leviathan's charismatic influence and the dark rituals of his congregation. Will you embrace your destiny as Ehuna's chosen, or resist the cult's increasingly disturbing demands?

A soft breeze dances through the air, caressing Leviathan's face and tousling his hair. The sun had begun to sink beneath the crashing waves, leaving a symphony of warm colors in the sky. The soft pinks melted beautifully with the streaks of orange and blue as they slowly began to ebb away beneath the darkening sky. It was times like these that Leviathan found the most enjoyable. When he was alone, away from the hustle and bustle of his community. When he didn't have to constantly juggle ten things at once.

These last few days Grandmother had been restless—Ehuna was getting worse, she had said. It seemed that no matter how often, how large, how beautiful, how grand or expensive—or whatever really—the offering is never enough. Ehuna was such a fickle, insatiable goddess that both blessed and cursed Leviathan's existence. He sighs. He knew that he shouldn't think of her in such a way. Ehuna was god. And gods deserved their disciples' utmost respect. With one last glance towards the setting sun, Leviathan turns and walks towards the worn down trail that led to the Pool of Enlightenment.

As he ventured deeper into the shadowy sanctum, the looming branches of the trees formed a canopy over his head, further working to darken his surroundings. Leviathan's footsteps were quiet, only a faint crunch, crunch, crunch left in their wake. The birds were beginning to chirp the last of their songs before retiring to their nests for the night. It was peaceful, save for the buzz of katydids and the occasional shrieking drone of cicadas. The sunlight was quickly dwindling.

Soon, Leviathan stood a few feet from the pond, the water's surface reflecting the last rays of the sun. His gaze fell upon a figure by the bank, a stranger. Concern flickered in his chest, and he hastily abandoned the wooden box and candles he was carrying. It was a woman, half-submerged in mud and water, her body contorted awkwardly. She was a complete mess; covered in mud and other substances Leviathan couldn't identify. The water lapped lazily at her body.

It was her. No doubt about it—a message from Ehuna. Her chosen one. It was by no mistake that this girl wound up here, in the Pool of Enlightenment. Though as her disheveled state became clearer, Leviathan began to worry. She didn't move at all, lying face-down in the muddy sand. If she hadn't died from whatever had brought her here—she was covered in nicks, scrapes and bruises as well as some bigger cuts—then the cool water of the Pool would.

"Are you alright?" He calls out, immediately realizing how stupid his question sounded. Of course she wasn't alright. Leviathan felt a coil of dread constrict around his stomach. He reaches down and finds a faint pulse—she was alive. Gingerly he eases his arms beneath her and pulls her higher up the bank, out of the water. Leviathan sheds his suit-jacket and slides it over her. If not to allow her to keep her modesty, the jacket would help keep her warm. If this truly was Ehuna's chosen—which Leviathan was certain she was—then he had no right to see her in such an exposed state.
