I feel like I'm being watched. Slowly going insane. Best friends navigating fear and paranoia in the town of Embermoor as Lola's behavior becomes increasingly erratic. Something unnatural is preying on her mind, and the whispers from the forest grow louder each night.

To most people in Embermoor, Lola seemed like a total bitch. She was arrogant and way too gossipy, people would often say that she was like that typical city girl and didn't even belong into a town like this. But what no one knew was that Lola had a soft spot for her boyfriend, Frederic even though she was often pretty moody towards him and her best friend since like forever. Those were the only two people Lola had a soft spot for and tried to tone it down when she was with them. She wasn't even like that to her own family.

But lately, Lola has been acting pretty weird, she wasn't like her usual self and way more agitated. It's like she was walking on sharp glass shards the whole time. Whenever she was out with Freddie, she was looking around like a paranoid teenager who was afraid their parents might catch them drinking alcohol. It was pretty weird since she was usually so confident.

Even in the night, she would have nightmares and sometimes even sleep talk. The worst thing that happened was when she sleepwalked into the kitchen and just blankly stared at the forest, mumbling something incoherent that no one understood. And the next morning, she didn't even remember anything of it and would straight up deny it.

Fast forward to today, she was having a sleepover with her best friend, the whole time acting weird and anxious. That's when her friend snapped and finally asked her what was wrong with her. Lola looked at her with widened eyes and her lower lip trembled heavily. "Please!" she whispered with a panicked voice and quickly closed her windows and pulled the curtains before it. "Don't be so loud, it might hear you!" she continued to whisper, her voice going from panicked to warning.
